Don't want to be "that guy", but it says in pretty big letters on their main page (and on the picture HCP posted) that the discount lasts "until Nov. 26 only", which presumably means it ends at midnight tonight. The discount is also applied to some of their official Amazon Retailer pages, which you can access here: https://www.ledger.com/pages/retailers.

Thanks for the info, can't believe i miss something so obvious.

But anyway, most people who chose to buy bitcoin at start of sale bound to miss the deal as most deposit and some withdraw action on exchange took few days.

If they were trying to buy Bitcoin (with fiat) via an exchange... then surely they could simply just buy the device with fiat directly from Ledger and cut out the middlemen? Wink

That's clever idea, even though there's no info when will the discount ended and people who buy bitcoin might miss the discount as not all exchange have fast deposit/withdraw.

There's no "discount" since bitcoin price recently crashed, Ledger is being wise and use the opportunity to earn lots of Bitcoin Roll Eyes
But it's great deal if the buyer don't choose cryptocurrency as payment method,

When you look at it from this angle, then this may be somewhat accurate, but this is always the case when we pay with BTC. I buy Ledger when price of BTC was 8000$+ last year, should I feel decived because of that?

It is true price of 1 BTC is dropped 2000$ recently, so at 6200$ and 50$ for Ledger in BTC, users would pay in BTC around 800 000 satoshi. Today at BTC price of 4300$ user need to pay around 0.017 BTC. So the difference is less then 400 000 satoshi, is it that too much for security of your coins?

The price they charge is based on Euros (since they are a French company), and they have cut the price from 99.99€ to 49.99€. It's a great deal for anyone without a hardware wallet or who may want additional wallets for travelling, extra security, etc. I mean yes, the price of BTC has fallen, so if you are paying with BTC you bought at a much higher price then your discount will be less or even non-existent, but that would be the case literally everywhere. If you want to pay in BTC and want the discount, then just buy 49.99€ worth of bitcoin at these new lower prices and then use that to pay.

I didn't know they had started making new colors though. Unfortunately they are all pretty ugly except the transparent one. I would definitely be grabbing one of those if it was on offer.
