Hello all,

The only known notes affected are hologram stc notes: birds of the world (northern cardinal, penguin) and mystery 3.

Additional testing has shown that some Polymerbits can have an issue where the private key can be pulled with the hologram if you attempt to peel using your fingers.

This happens due to the glue having bonded with the physical cotton substrate, causing a tear when the hologram is removed. There is no degradation of the QR print.

In all cases we have been able to recover the private key (even with substantial tearing) but it's an unpleasant experience.

This can be avoided by using a utility knife .
