I haven't experimented much with PSU placement, maybe there should be some distance between the PSU and the MB.

Then it means my problem is somewhere else. Maybe the PSU, CPU or Mobo? I don't have any other PSU to check.

For aney, it's a open frame with more than 10 cm between those two.

In my rig this PSU randomly turns off unless extracted from the computer case and placed beside it and not touching it. The distance between computer case and PSU must be not less than 10cm approximately.

Its normal for 1 pin to be missing from the 24 pin atx connection, its a null pin.

Thanks for your answer guys. I read a lot of negative reviews about this PSU model. So far, nothing worked. I am a newbie and I spent a lot for this mining rig. Sad

Has anybody ever encountered this problem?

I NEVER OWNED that psu.  I do have a friend with it  and it was a poor performer as it simply turned off a lot.

I used have the same PSU ... from what I remember, the fan would only spin once it reached 40% of the 1200W so I don't think the fan is the problem. Not sure about the 23 pins, can't recall how many mine had.

Thank you for your reply!

yes i should have 24 pins but i only have 23. http://imgur.com/a/kg1PU

Maybe this could be the problem? Or my PSU, Motherboard or CPU is dead?

Unfortunatelly, Corsair doesn't deliver to my country.

I linked one more link see above he is your best chance for the best info on this.

It is a 4-pin and yes, it's plugged in. I tried to power on the rig with a screwdriver. Is there any way to determine whether the motherboard, the PSU or the CPU is faulty?

Have you plugged in the 4/8 pin CPU power from the PSU in to the motherboard?

Hello

I have received my AX1200i PSU today and I noticed that the 24 pin connector has one pin missing. How can I attach pics?

The problem is that my rig won't power on. Fans only spin for one sec and then stops. Could this be the main problem? I've also tried withous any GPU

Mobo: Biostar TB85 BTC Pro
GPU: 6 x MSI GTX 1070 AERO 8GB OC
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black HX316C10FB/4, 4GB DDR3, 1600MHz, CL10
CPU: Intel G1840

I did the self test and the PSU shows the green light.

Any suggestions?

Thanks guys!
