Found the set-up thread. Looks like I need to do some reading and tinkering since its a tiny bit more complicated then plug and play. I will redirect my questions about set-up to that sub-forum, thanks!  Smiley

So i connected the PCI-E cords from the power supply to the 2 board and no power. Is there a set-up guide somewhere, or did someone already ask about setting up an Antminer somewhere on the forum? I could provide pics if someone is willing to help. I thought the miner would be ready to go out of the box.

How did you switch on the power supply? There are setup threads in the Custom Hardware subforum.

Get at least a 600.

Most power supplies run more efficiently at 80% load.

If it's overclocked, it's sucking down at least 450 w, which is what mine did at 400 mhz.

By the way, some AntMiners get high hardware error rates at 400 mhz (mine did). I clocked it down to 375 and it's still running 450 w.

I searched the forum and saw someone went with this one. Would the 550 be okay for an overclocked one?

and it looks like I can attach the power supply to the other end and use that fan. Is that a proper set-up?

The Antminer I received did not come with a power supply unit. I believe it is over-clocked to around 200G/H. What sort of PSU should I get? Links to PSU available for purchase online would be greatly appreciated.

I also would like to install another fan. What size Fan does the Antminer use?
