-What is the power draw of the GPU you are planning to run.
-What does the manual say for your PSU.

Hi,

A few quick questions:

1) I have an older 500W PSU I would like to hook up more then one GPU to, however the PSU only has a power cable for 1 PCIE-VGA 6 pin. Can I extend this cable to power a second card ?

2) Can I extend this cable further to power a 3rd and 4th card ? (I know 500W is low). If I can't is my only option a new PSU with more PCIE-VGA power cord?

3) I know 500W might not do 4 cards, but I have a 750W Bronze EVGA which only has 2 PCIE-VGA power outputs, both of which are on the same cable, so the question applies to both rigs.

4) Do you guys use your onboard video card and mount 4 video cards to the PCIE ? If I plug 1 video card into the PCIE 16x on the mobo it covers a PCIE 1x slot, so I can't use 4 cards if I do it this way ? Will this affect performance not plugging directly into the PCIE 16x ?

5) AMD Phenom X2 is to old to CPU mine ? Nicehash cant find it but maybe its the version im using ?

Thank you.
