The fact that psychiatry is also allowed to define what constitutes "normal" behaviour and can deprive any of us of our freedom and subject us to involuntary treatments against our will is frightening. Is our society now moving to a point where psychiatric approved definitions of normality will be used exclusively for control purposes as a form of state sanctioned conditioning, to create total docility and submissiveness in the population. That was probably the goal all along.

Well that's the goal of any government in the world : total docility and submissiveness in the population.
Society reject the ones that doesn't fit, the ones who think and behave differently.

Millenniums of Civilization have selected the most dumb & submissive among humans.
Look how people around you behave :
they never criticize want they believe
they never express their own opinion
they never learn anything unless they are told to
they never make their own ideas
 = they do not think

People are empty and uninteresting as shit.

This video is so shocking. I think psychiatry is even worse than murder. How cud man be so inhuman

I think you're exaggerating quite a bit there. Modern psychiatry isn’t as brutal as it used to be. It's still not right, but at least people aren’t getting forcefully lobotomised any more (thought maybe this is arguable with the amount of zombie drugs they dish out).

Well friend, u may feel i may be exaggerating. But on seeing the video i put my view. Thanx for informing me that it is not as brutal as it used to be becoz ths had moved my belief of mordern technology nd science

Apparently I am a schizo manic, hallucinate and have a PCP problem, according to my 'diagnosis'.

Funny that I don't hear voices or see objects nor have I ever used PCP.

Psychotic means to be delusional.  Delusion means false belief.  False means something that is untrue.

I believe in positives, love, truth.  So how am I delusional or psychotic?  Perhaps the medical 'professionals' judging people as sick are truly the psychotic individuals.

My babe said doctors are evil a long time ago and I didn't know what it meant, but damn she's a pure genius.

Gulags are the in thing again! USSA! USSA! USSA! There is no normal, you are all subject. This is reason to remove your firearms, your free speech, your assets, and profit from your culling. Now who wants to join me in singing our national anthem?

Psychiatry's Reign Of Terror

youtube.com/watch?v=3hj49xDEXow&list=PLY9c34aJlB3LL042CQILeY5ON57TdSO7a

Psychiatry is evil, and some people should watch this video, it has many doctors telling you

about how evil psychiatry is.

Some of you won't believe a common man if they tell you that psychiatry is evil, so
here is a video with many doctors who tell you that psychiatry is evil.

I found it odd that these doctors were against psychiatry, because they all went to school to become
doctors, psychiatrists, professors etc....
I mean, why would they be against psychiatry when they had paid their own money to go to school to become psychiatrists?

I don't know, I think people need to watch out for wolves in sheeps clothing.

Nonetheless, I think its an interesting video.

True shit my man.  Forcing neurtoxic chemicals into the minds of teenagers is indeed evil.  Intentions aside, it's nazi mind control when it boils down to it.

'Normal' is left undefined by psychiatry.

This discussion of mine may be relevant (be sure to turn off reddit's default censorship settings):
http://www.reddit.com/r/mentalhealth/comments/21z51f/antipsychology/

Antidepressants are placebos and usually make people feel worse. Just look at all the sideeffects they have

Don't take them. Excercise and eat better and you'll be more likely to improve.

These videos (which I do not personally endorse) may be relevant counter-points to this discussion:

Actually, the pharmaceutical industry funds the education of psychiatrists. At least, that's how it works in the USA, where the DSM is considered a trade-secret of the APA, heavily protected by intellectual property rights. The truth is that anti-depressants are only an effective treatment for major depression. But in order to obtain medical treatment for ANY severe mental illness, most patients are required to take them along with their other medications.

Psychiatry: "Cloaking themselves in the language of a more esteemed profession..."

Psychotherapy: "...taking people's money and sending them off with a little bit of feces in their face."

Hitler's doctors didn't think twice about giving him all the meth he wanted... So in a way, Hitler is responsible for World War II. Smiley

psychiatry should only be deemed for people who try and harm other people in society. by drugging them into submission is the only way to stop these criminals. otherwise psychiatry should stay away from normal people.

I haven't watched the video but psychiatry seems almost like a kind of pseudo-science to me. It's also alarming how easy doctors seem to throw anti-depressants at people, especially when they seem to be nothing more than Placebos for depression/anxiety etc and actually tend to do more harm than good.

This. I have experience with psychiatry and it has helped me but they also threw medicines at me, including benzos. It takes about two weeks before they go out of your system completly and the withdrawal was hell. Luckily it get better everyday after two weeks.
