PTS has zero services and is worth more than LTC?
CPU coins always become worth nothing. The fact this uses more ram does not really stop botnets, but yes is harder to vps mine that's about it.

PTS doesn't have any services, but the Bitshares that will spawn will have potential to create services and a new economy through it.

if there is a chance at greater diversification then i can see why people are supporting this new algorithm.
Every coin was once upon a time a cpu coin in it core, until people found a way to make miners for gpu mining.
