Do you really think banning PUBG will solve the issue?

Have you heard about Free Fire and Fortnite? These two games can be also played on any mobile device and are almost similar and more dangerous than PUBG.

Banning anything only increases the curiosity and urge to use it more. If banning things was a solution then earth would have been drugs free long ago.

and it's still playable, why does the news says that it's totally banned?

Very much still playable in India.

It's no different than Call of Duty or any of the other countless first person shooters out there.

Eyewash!!
This means that all of these news that we're reading, articles and other online reading materials aren't telling the truth?

And they're all just assuming that India has banned PUBG? you don't use VPN or any of the same?

This so called BAN was just a PR stunt that made headlines.

PUBG is still available to download and play in India.

Why didn't they ban Oppo or Vivo or the automotive company MG ? All are Chinese and their numbers make PUBG look like pocket change.

Its all an eyewash by the Modi sarkar.
Right now PUBG ban isn't upon the ban of Chinese applications. If I'm not wrong this has been banned based on the negative impact it has made in the society. Also it makes the productive young generation go completely into addiction and violent. More crimes and suicides have taken place, as the kids weren't allowed to play the game.
Chinese apps were banned for the reason of privacy concerns not to save the kids or any generation from getting addicted to it.And more likely the banned apps will resume their service once they satisfy the needs of the current ruling government.

I think they have resorted of banning it due to the conflict and hot issue that those countries are getting involved with. But if this is real,

Well, I honestly do not see why such games should be allowed for kids. I don't even think they are suitable for military people not to talk of young non-military minds. You could build training games for military people without the killings and destructions. Characters that are shot at should clearly be dangerous characters that deserves to be shot at. And it should be with all kinds of safe/non-lethal weapons like nets, tranquilizer etc

All of the sudden the Indian government took a decision to ban PUBG game within the country. Even now I can see more number of young people playing PUBG sitting as a group. Today in the news saw about the ban of PUBG from more countries other than India. In the news article it was mentioned, PUBG has got 40millions active users playing regularly. This is something very big, if we've got any of the cryptocurrency based application it could've made a big change in the market.

The countries that have banned PUBG other than India are China, Nepal, Jordan, Israel, Iraq. The article also mention the lack of responsibility from the development team. The game is addictive and it registers violence in young minds. When something is developed it should not harm or create negative things within the people. Is this ban gonna make any change among common man, because majority of the users are common man.
