Sorry, was disappointed when I checked em. Shit happens during shipping tho, I don't think it is anything you did. On the positive side:

The one that posted is hashing at 311mh/s, 1.000volts and 800mhz core(after some tinkering... will work on fixing the others later)

Great deal, I'm posting you in the honest traders thread. Would appreciate the same

Thanks,
Andrew

4 btc received confirmed.

Wow, I tested 2 of the 3 a few months ago, see here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.924384
and they have been sitting in a box since I couldn't think of anything else to do with them. The 3rd one stopped mining a month ago but would still post and it has been sitting with the other 2 since. I guess I will have to test them again before sending them out next time.

If you are still good with this deal let me know.

You are talking about fraud... Buying broken/used cards to RMA them is fine if the company allows transferable warranties but most don't.

I myself try to fix them....

Not trying to sound like a dick just my2cents.

MSI, GIGABYTE, ASUS, and some XFX all have serial number based non-user related warranties.

Damn gimme deals like ~$80 for 3 cards!

Deal is 8 btc for 3 defective cards....

Bold added for emphasis.

Could have burn marks on them and still be worth significantly more than that Wink

Some of us (and lots of eBayers) have much love RMA status with various companies and can send in cards with lots of damage from LN2 pots etc.

I have made a deal with AndrewK to sell 3 mining defective (meaning they post successfully and boot to graphical desktop in Linux but do not mine successfully) Reference 5850's.

He has a pretty high post count for being a month old account and has been buying up a lot of hardware, which normally seems a little suspicious. From his post history his intentions are noble, and he has 1 successful deal so far.

As such I have decided to accept a deal with him and make this public entry to track status.

Deal is 8 btc for 3 defective cards, I handle shipping. 4 btc before shipping, and 4 upon verified delivery.
