Publica - Protocol for Decentralised Publishing

What is at the Publica’s core? How does it bring the virtues of the blockchain to the publishing? It takes the center of the ecosystem, where money, readers, authors and content and intersected - the license for the book. Where currently licenses for e-books are stored and reader-access data? Centralised, closed owned by the platforms that is why nobody really knows how much content is sold.

We move e-book license to the blockchain. We use conventional ERC20 token format and Solidity mapping to create lists of people, who are allowed to access the content because they own the token that represents digital key to a particular e-book. They are authorised through smart-contract.

Tokens can be traded, exchanged and also pre-sold, thus enabling small ICOs of the books for new and already successful authors! More to come - tokenisation of authors IP is on the Publica roadmap!
