as long as there are newbies too desperate to make money using cryptocurrencies and too lazy to learn how to do it, there will be other newbie scammers out there wanting to make easy money by using these people. and nothing can be done about it. there are lots of newbies pouring in this market. all of them coming in because of bitcoin but since there are lots of FUD scaring them away from bitcoin (the real deal) and into altcoins (the fake advertisement) so they think they are catching something valuable which will be worth as much as bitcoin one day.

I fully agree with your placement, am not in favor of bomb and dump and much less practice in constancy, but sometimes we have investments in certain currencies where we do not even know these intentions, but because of luck and knowledge we can surf the wave and make a good profit.
Pump and dump gives crypto a bad name and scares away newcomers. The first time I experienced a classic p-n-d was with a token I received from an airdrop and being a newbie I didn`t realize what`s going on... I was ecstatic seeing the price surge 20x, I spent hours reading in the Telegram group and at some point common sense won and I started to dig deeper on the white paper and the team. I ended up selling some of the tokens, but I felt sorry for the people who actually invested their money. A very simple advice for newbies: just stay away from the Telegram groups where you see "mooning", "lambo"  Wink

The only one who profits from this modus is the one who initiates the pumping, for those that will participate in this people will tend to lose some money.
Don't fall from this, only greedy people fall for this modus.

pump and dump groups are dangerous and you could lose. they are going to signal a particular coin but they buy it on the lowest bid. after that they signal on all channel they have that particular is going to be pump... then boom after they reach there desired profit.. dumps happen.. so please staw away from this modus..

Couldn't agree more, if the coin isn't backed up with decent tech then its not worth getting into, do your research before buying!

Even I am also not supporting pump and dump strategy because I got bad experience with this strategy . Also it’s dangerous to cryptocurrency growth . Now I am investing huge time before involving into any projects . Don’t support this pump and dump group for long time vision for crypto currency . If you become greedy to support this group then you will end upto supporting killing cryptocurrency.

They have hierarchy system and to climb to the top is very difficult for example bring 100 new people to join in, those on the top decide when, what and how high pump should go, they will announce higher price target but set their target probably around 70% of the target, they will announce to the regular member after they already pump the price if you go and buy you are buying their dump

Nothing beats sitting down, doing the research and finding undervalued projects yourself.
True, this is why DYOR is the best thing to do. This may be annoying to read if you are only a starter in cryptocurrencies but later on you'll thank the person that keeps on telling this although it's truly annoying. Crypto is exciting if you are starting out and don't get feed up by someone if you can do the thing called "research". It's not bad to ask but joining such groups that are requiring you or telling you what to do buy is getting your freedom on how to be a good and experienced trader.

In fact, in this multiply participate, but carefully, the main thing is not to buy already on the top and not to use your entire portfolio. Approximately 5-10 percent of investments are quite suitable for such events! The main thing is to go to it wisely!

Yes please do stay away from pump and dumps nothing beats the organic growth. Do with your own research mix fundamental analysis and technical analysis if you know some basics check the total market capitalization of the whole crypto world and bitcoin dominance percentage as well. And Don't forget to invest what only you can afford to lose.

Of course participation in these processes is quite a dangerous activity, and if you take part and yes even more simply do not understand that you are taking part, it's probably just some incredible situation. Of course it will not lead you to success.

The old "pump and dump"

For your own sake please don't get involved in these.. You will be buying the dump.

The biggest unofficial one that springs to mind in my eye is Palm Beach Confidential.

Some known influencers are now walking a grey area currently, one being John McAffee with some questionable calls of late.

Nothing beats sitting down, doing the research and finding undervalued projects yourself.
