In my opinion prices should rise, because it will become harder to mine the coin

OOOO silly fool. You think like that your going to lose big. Recent exp look at doge. higher dif or less block reward =/= higher price.

I thought DOGE went south because it was a marketing gimmick?  Hey guys, I'm selling pet rocks for 1BTC!

That too. There are all sorts of reasons why a coin goes up or down. Placing bets on examples like those listed above will only make they bag holders , for most times that thinking does not get you ahead most times.

I've sold about 10%. I'll keep the rest. Price should go north.

Frozen (FZ) has finally hit an exchange, but it's at an ominous time.  The block reward is going to drop from 50 to 25 in the next 48 hours, and then go down pretty quickly after that.  In these situations do you normally see prices rise or fall?  From one side, it makes sense to dump it since people will have a harder time mining the coin and could lose interest.  On the other end of the spectrum, it will make the coin even harder to get a-hold of which might drive people to the exchanges to buy it.  What's your opinion forum?  Pump - or - Dump?
