Problem is there are no S5+ blades for sale unless you buy an S5+ USED from someone. Bitmain hasn't dropped it from their website yet, but I suspect that's just "lasy web maintainance" since I'm pretty sure they're still listing the "Batch 7" S5 units too....

You are simply wrong S5
the correct S5 speed is  2,9TH/s, see mine   Grin

Is that S5 being overclocked to over double what it should be doing or did antminer get their calculations wrong as they say the S5 is 1155GH/s

It is simply a revolution in mining.
Uppgrade your existing S5 with S5+ blade(s)

A miner that's "underwater" at 6.7 cents/kwh isn't going to have much resale factor, but that IS a valid consideration to keep in mind.
That's actually my primary CURRENT hope to ever get RoI on my S5s and my SP20E (got into them too late and too expen$ive), though working on undervolting the S5s to help them some when the time comes.

Just to be clear, you also shouldn't forget to include resale value; which is as much crystal ball-gazing ( sidehack: ಠ_ಠ Wink ) as the difficulty adjustments and exchange rates.  But yes, any statement suggesting that profiting is possible should at least qualify that statement with the circumstances under which that is the case.

I was looking at the S7 two days ago without realising that the BF4500 miner that i though it wanted was actually worse than the S7. The S7 can be run at a maximum of 4.87 TH/s and I am pretty sure it only needs 1600-2000W at the wall.

some here will have it doing 5th + once they get it .the PSU Im willing to bet  can be a 1400 watt one with some over clocking room you may even get a way with using a 1300 watt one but that's pushing it with no clocking and under clocking sense this chip is suppose to allow that.

I'm so hoping bitmain sells chips, if so I'll have a custom made S7 that i can afford sense it looks like no smaller S7 are planed other wise i have to wait a month or two to get a S7, I'll have one sooner or later when price allows it till then I'll use my S5s and look for deals on S5s Smiley  and save for it, hope bitcoins go up in price i know the S7 will to but if the bitcoins go up enough bitmain won't kill there self unless greed gets the best of them.

Before you keep spamming "this is not true", try doing an actual REAL RoI calculation.
Don't forget to include difficulty increases (most "RoI" calculations ignore that).
Don't forget to include cost of electric.
Don't forget to include cost of power supply setup.
Don't forget shipping cost.

 ET CETERA.

I have DONE the calc a few times - even my first estimate, back when the S7 was first announced, and assuming ONLY a 2% difficulty increase on average, made the S7 a very marginal iffy RoI proposition at my 6.7 cent/KWH non-summer incremental cost of electric - but at this point it appears that a 3% average difficulty increase estimate is VERY MUCH ON THE LOW SIDE for a while.

I'll also point out that 6.7 cents / KWH is already pretty cheap electric to start with. Very few areas that get under that at all.

Also note my qualifiers on that estimate.
Yes, Bitcoin price might increase - I even consider it likely a short time before the halfing, but how much is VERY MUCH iffy if it happens at all.
Difficulty increase rate flatting out? Yeah, right - probability almost zero, it would pretty much take a dino killer asteroid or a collapse of Bitcoin pricing to under $150 for a few MONTHS or more to manage that.

It's also possible Bitmain will drop the price of the S7 - but I don't see that happening for a while, by which time diff increases will make it even HARDER to RoI one unless they drop the price a LOT.

.....

S7 is a vastly better product, but unless you have VERY cheap electric you won't RoI an S7 unless bitcoin price jumps a LOT sometime in the next 6-8 months, or difficulty increased flatten back out to even LESS than the 1.6% they averaged during the first half of this year about immediately.

This is not true.

The BF4500 is a *2* generation old product at this point, no way you'll ever get ROI on it unless you literally have FREE electric.
I suspect it's no longer in production, and that the only buyable ones are used - BitFury seems to have dropped all retail sales, dunno why they still list that and the BF3500 on their web site.

That bitfury miner is real that i know of but

be very care full with this site there was never a Zeusminer VOLCANO 300Mh/s @1000W ever made in fact Zeus kind of ripped a lot of people selling it. they went from being a good to bad company with no reason why . and the Antminer L1 never sold to the Public if it was ever made at all, there is still some debate on that . bitmain made every one happy when they didn't come thu back in Dec/Jan of this year .

There selling gear that was either never made or not sold to the public at all .

IF you want one of those why not buy a antminer S7 you may end up paying the same and you will for sure get one unless bitmain went bad .

https://bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020150827084021471OHYdwd9D06A0   atm i can't afford a s7 or id have one on order .

I hope you realize that by today's standards, that's a relatively inefficient piece of mining hardware.

As for that site - use a search engine to search for that site's name.  If possible, limit the search to this forum for some discussion threads.  tl;dr: scammy.
