Purse generally was providing this offer by default to all its users, basically people who have Amazon gift cards tied to their accounts cannot get them back as cash by refunding, so those become illiquid. Thus you'll find that many such users are willing to buy you stuff with their existing amazon balances in exchange for Bitcoins.
I do not know about unocoin but purse give 15-20% discount .unocoin started a amazon voucher exchange service?
