I agree with you on immigration. Putin's immigration policy has been a major failure. Starting from 2010, there has been a heavy upswing in the Muslim immigration to Russia, especially from nations such as Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan.

1. The failling birthrate isn't a doom... yes more debt to carry by fewer individuals but what's the point of saturation by too many people... from traffic jam to packed schools. Bill gates paid already more than 6 billions in taxes...

Very true! Why were they not allowed to return to the motherland? Let behind to be exploited rather than to have access to a peacefull life in the native land. Typical soviet disdain for all lives but their owns.

One another tragedy in importing foreign workers is the loss of societal harmony. There are no longer mentors or more experienced people, but just wage arbitragers. There is no more transfer of knowledge and how to live.

Foreigners come, ready to work, extract the money, bring more of their friends and suck all opportunity for the native to integrate. Sad sad.

2. The best olympic wastelands are to be found in athenes i guess... but who the fuck cares, bring the foreign workers, make the money buiding and running, play 2 weeks of happy and leave the mess behind with the money.

3. Let say that christianity had and still has a lot of problems, however there is no problem anymore discussing them... saying the earth is or isn't orbiting around the sun is quite recent. The fundamental difference is that one is a religion and the other a political manual (with various interpretations).

4. Nope the contrary, i mean that a lot of russian young men are in jail for doing some in my opinion stupid so called illegal substance abuses. The state isn't to decide what a man or a woman put inside or outside of his own body. Putinist are part of the jeff session gang: jail is the answer, and only hope, like isis. Addiction isn't a crime.

5. Soviets understood the dangers of civilian nuclear technology, and those men contrary to his highness the new tsar saw many die in the clean up of tchernobyl... and they didn't care as much about money or taking nation hostage or as dependent. Iran would be freeer and safer without those future bombs on site...

When you tell yourself a lie too much you may forget that it's a lie.

1. Putin is letting foreigners invade all main russian cities. Been outside of oligarchs area in moscow? Hard to know if it's dagestan or kazakstan. Those formers soviets, drive wages lowers furthermore they bring with them their foreign culture and with their breeding rate... insecurity, violences etc.

2. Rather than to focus exclusively on creating a serious modern nation, the putinists only focus on their pride projects: stadiums. And of course some of the friends loot those state projects.

3. The total arrogance and desillusion of believing that there can be a russian islam. What a joke since the battles around medina and the last words spoken, the book will not change. Putinists in their dreams believe to be able to rewrite the book to their will. Hubris 100%.

4. The putinists find very great to jail people for using non state approved psychoactives. It's uterly stupid, among those people rotting in jail they are very smart people, who could greatly contribute to the russian economy even under the influence from non state allowed substances. Furthermore as those people have family they too may not be be very cooperative toward the russian project.

5. Continuing to export civilian nuclear technology rather than innovate. Those plants are an impending doom for all nations corrupt enough to build some. That lead those traitors to have contributed to launch the nuclear and other arm races for all iranian adversaries.

6. The support for insurgency in lybia and syria (assad being the son of a traitor), leads to more tensions, divert ressources and lives to a useless attempt to play bigger than what russia is. The emporium is over, worst than accepting it, is bluffing it. Look at electrification map or infrastructures of russia, and see a third world country.

7. By being such a tool, a bear may get fleeced by a dragon flying with an eagle... as long as the tigers homeland is safe...

time to evolve...

1. Seems to be the trend in Europe with their falling birthrate. IMHO Russia should have focused on allowing ethnic Russians in other countries to emigrate back. On the other hand, maybe Russia need their presence in other countries, like those ethnic Russians in Crimea (which is now one with motherland).

2. Seems common in other countries. Just look at the Olympic buildings they built in Brazil. All now in disrepair. Well, them people love their bread and circus, gotta give it to them.

3. Ramen. This is one major difference between Islam and Christianity. The latter adapts to the existing culture.

4. Haven't heard of this. Do you mean that some drugs that would otherwise be illegal in other countries are legal in Russia?

5. Don't have much to say about this. Maybe it's a legacy of the Cold War, when the US and Russia armed various countries during their many proxy wars?
