Oops... I'm an idiot. I meant to say "run the command without the "> wallet.txt" part at the end!  Embarrassed Embarrassed

So try the following:
Code:
python pywallet.py --dumpwallet --datadir=C:\Users\My\AppData\Roaming\Komodo\ACTN\wallet\dir --wallet=wallet.dat --otherversion=141

Does that output anything? Huh

If not, then it would appear that PyWallet is not able to extract anything meaningful from your wallet.dat Undecided

No, this one doesn't has passphrase
Actually there's nothing in the file "wallet.txt" but after the command those files came on folder where pywallet.py is.
Those files are just PyWallet creating it's own database as it attempts to scan through the wallet.dat... What happens if you run the command with the "> wallet.txt" part at the end? What output do you see? Huh

Doesn't show any output, see this when i run the command https://prnt.sc/rwjdvd

Check that file to see what it contains. Hopefully it has the wallet data.

Which reminds me... did the wallet.dat have a password? Huh

Ok... it seems to have finished running without any error. The command has "> wallet.txt" at the end which redirects the output from pywallet into a file in that directory called "wallet.txt"

Check that file to see what it contains. Hopefully it has the wallet data.

What is your wallet file actually called? You need to change the command so that "walletfilename" part of --wallet= argument is the actual name of your wallet file! Wink

Already changed command to -wallet=wallet.dat so right now it's different didn't show anything and im still waiting. Check sc

You haven't installed the libraries properly... you don't install them by simply downloading the .zips, extracting and copying to the Python directory.

If you're wanting to run Pywallet properly with Windows, you need to install the libraries using pip. As per the pycrypto page on pypi.org, the install command is:
Code:
pip install pycrypto

If you didn't let the installer modify your path, you might need to use the full path to the "pip" script:
Code:
c:\Python27\Scripts\pip install pycrypto

Once you have pycrypto installed, you can try running PyWallet... looking at your screenshot, you don't appear to be running it correctly. Given that it's not a BTC wallet, you'll definitely need the --otherversion command... From the registered coin types, Komodo is 141... so something like:

Code:
python pywallet.py --dumpwallet --datadir=x:\FULL\PATH\TO\WALLET\DIR --wallet=walletfilename --otherversion=141 > wallet.txt

Note that Pywallet on windows is VERY particular about the --datadir... it really needs to be the FULL path to the directory... --wallet is only required if the file is not called wallet.dat

Seems pycrypto was installed in Lib and not Scripts... tried command you provided and it shows Couldn't open wallet.dat/main..

Where exactly you get the files from?

As for pycrypto, why don't you try with pip install? I'm pretty sure it will automatically get installed and not just a zip download.

You need to install the dependencies. Even if it's not a bitcoin wallet some of alts use the same library for their wallet software/files.

Find the download from these links:
1. openssl: https://wiki.openssl.org/index.php/Binaries or https://github.com/openssl/openssl
2. pycrypto: try with pip installer, use "pycrypto" as the module name. Or see https://pypi.org/project/pycrypto/.

I have installed openssl and pycrypto both are on .zip, Should just extract files on C:/python27 ?

You can move the thread (bottom left) in the Bitcoin Technical Support - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=4.0 this belongs there.

Hello,

I've tried to dump private key from wallet.dat because file is corrupted but shows that pycrypto or libssl not found not sure why.. wallet.dat is not BTC, it's Komodo.
