One of my problems is that I can usually find the right mm size for the diameter, but sometimes the coins thickness is too thin for the specific airtite - case in point, I ordered 10 39mm airtites for 10 Lealana XMR brass coins from airtites.com. They fit just fine as they are 38.5, but they are unfortunately thinner than the airtite for that size, so now they tend to rattle just a bit.   Sad
Yet another annoying problem that could be avoided if the manufacturers ship the coins in such holders in the first place. I hope that mine fit.

Just a heads up lauda my genesis coins are a little thick at 3mm.  Not only do you need to know diameter make sure that its a thin or thicker coin cause it will make a difference.

The airtites with foam rings can usually help with this problem.

Yeah but these have them already so it's the thickness not the diameter in my case. Tongue

Edit or are you suggesting I pad a small snip on the thickness side to even it out? Thanks!

Thanks. I still need to figure out the Shibanu Doge one. I suggest that manufacturers list both " and 'mm' for sizes when selling (so that people don't have to resort to conversion rates which may not be optimal).

Cryptocracy coins are 1.5" and 3mm thick.   They fit it the same slabs as the Genesis coins do.

Lauda doesnt the sw come with slabs? Or are you looking for round capsules?
It comes with slabs, and mine came with round capsules. However, these capsules have a black foam ring in them which makes them unusually large (thus can't fit into my collecting case).

I agree though, its nice when manufacturers ship already slabbed or in a nice capsule
Unfortunately, it seems the some are either too cheap or can't bother to ship them in any kind of capsules.

Ah makes sense, im sure blaze can answer that, i dont have a caliper handy otherwise id measure mine

The first second (?) thread for silver wallets says they are 39mm, so I assume they all are that same size.

39mm is pretty standard for a 1oz silver round.  I imagine the f*D coin mentioned in the OP is also 39mm.

I need help with determining the appropriate coin holder sizes for several of my coins. The list is as follows:

2x Bitcoin Mint 2016 A:
3x We are All Satoshi Nakamoto:
1x Silver Wallet 2015:
1x Silver Wallet 2014:
1x Cryptocracy 2016:
1x Bitcoin Penny: https://thebitcoinpenny.com/collections/the-2016-collection/products/air-tite-protective-case
1x F*D 1/10 BTC 1oz Silver:
1x Shibanu Doge 2015 (which comes in a square capsule):

Would be nice if manufacturers actually shipped their coins in airtities.

For the bitcoinpenny its stated
Quote
Bitcoin Penny™ Commemorative Coins are the size of the average American’s pocket change—a little smaller than the US quarter (.900") and about the same thickness as the US nickel (.077”")—making them the perfect size to carry around comfortably in your pocket all day long, showing them off to everyone you meet!

.900 inch =22.86 mm
When i got the chance i will test a 23mm airtite.

The 23mm airtite is a perfect fit for the bitcoinpenny.
