I have PSU's with 8x 6pin for each PSU so i can use 6pin cables directly from PSU
So risers are safe to use with GTX 1050 ti 24/7 ?

I don't see why not. I heard of sketchy risers but none that can't handle cards.

Just to be sure check the temp of the cables of the touch after a few hours of mining.

I am running 5 GTX 1050 ti Gigabyte with only a single small fan and low profile cards in 5 different risers, from different generations. I am running them 24x7 and no problem until now, been running for more than 6 months now. Beside that I have only 1 PSU be quiet 600watt silver which is running them fine without problem.

If you want to build a low budget mining rig go for a 6x 1050 ti and mine Zcash. Total cost may be 1200-1400 Euro of the rig.

Thanks a lot

The risers mostly can (anecdotal evidence as I only have 1 kind of riser that can handle it) but it comes down whether or not the PSU and its cables can.

If you can, only plug 1 card to every wire coming out of the PSU regardless if some cables have 2-4 ports.

I burnt some cables plugging 2-3 GTX 750 Ti's (60W, no riser) per single Molex (not even sata to molex) cables coming from the PSU. With models that had a 6-pin aux cables as well I could plug 2-3 cards per cable and they weren't even warm.

But I learned each card has a built in preference in their BIOS' of what source of power it is using first.

TLDR; always only put 1 riser/card per cable coming from the PSU if you can.

Can PCI Risers Power up 75W Cards that haven't 6pin connector like GTX 1050 Ti?
Is it safe to run GPU's 24/7 on risers?
