Announcing MyEtherWallet v3.24.00: Difficulty Bomb&Updating blockchain

Due to the complexity of the Bomb and the increased risk of hacking, we pushed a rather drastic update that implements a number of changes and improvements, including enhancement of efficiency and scalability of the blockchain, acceleration of transaction speed, and additional security in the form new formats private keys which will help protect users against hacking.
If you are using private key or UTC, then you need to go into the wallet and update manually, otherwise they risk being unprotected.

How do i update my Ethereum wallet?

1. Go to our website MyEtherWallet.com
2. Unlock your wallet using your Keystore File (UTC / JSON) or simply use your private key.
3. Click Unlock and wait for the update.

Please note that you need to manually update your wallet, failure to do so may result in funds being lost.

We are taking these measures to protect both you and our network from phishing and malicious attacks.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
MyEtherWallet Security Team.

If you have Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 installed then the best choice for you is Ether mining. These OS use less memory than Windows 10 and at least few months you will be able to mine Ether. ZCash is only for ASICs right now.

I have a rig of 4 gtx 1060 3GB and i was mining ETH/ETN in past but now they not worth the hashrate and dig is big on ETH.
I tried to mine ZCASH but i get low souls and error with nheq miner and other it give me some cuda after 2 min of mining.
I changed my Windows from 10 to 7 to try the ZCASH but same problem.

Can you tell me which coin do you mine with GTX 1060 3GB and what is your OC settings and what kind of OS you use.

There are soo many coins that can be mined with 1060 3Gb, for example i have two rigs of 8x MSI 1060 3GB, mining Nexus and luxcoin Smiley check here a benchmark https://1stminingrig.com/msi-gtx-1060-armor-3gb-oc-mining-performance-review/

what is your per card hashrate and power cost?

my 1060 3gb cards are still running ETH since they do 25MH each and still work on Win7. even at 22MH ETH is still most profitable. only if your cards do 21MH or less does BTG take the lead, with ETH being 2nd profitable

FTC has higher hashrate and less profit then VTC.
VertCoin (VTC) also had big hashrate, and i dont know anything about it, maybe i try.
VIVO has a lower hashrate and more profit but i dont know if this coin worth to mine? Also its Neoscrypt is it good for GPU 4xgtx 1060 3gb?
Innova has also good hashrate and is good for GPU 1060 3gb mining
GoByte (GBX) has also good hashrate and profit good
BitSend   (BSD)  - bigger profit
Zero (ZER) - bigger profit

Can you tell me which one of this is good and to start mining it?

1060 3GB does well on the usual suspects for Nvidia cards like X17, Lyra2v2 and Equihash (using dstm 0.6). For Ethash coins you need to stick with those that have a DAG well under 3GB, obviously. MUSIC and UBQ are two more contenders along with the others mentioned.

Hi mate, firstly for ZEC, you should use EBWF's miner which is one of the most stable miner out there, check it here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ewbfs-cuda-zcash-miner-1707546
But personally I think you should not mine ZEC, seem the profit is very less now. Try to mine some other altcoins like FTC, VTC, VIVO,...
