This is ok, but the amount and the qr code seems to be paper and can actually get wet!
that's some set back i guess

They are waterproof, they have multiple layers..

1. alu coin
2. Qr private key
3. security sticker
4. protective clear sticker

The idea is that the cost is minimal so that the only real value is the bitcoin. This allows lower denominations.

Cool. They look really nice! I wouldn't mind having a couple of those to give out as well.

Nice thought, they'd just be a novelty/gift item though I think. For any significant amount you'd have to check the balance of the address which means you'd need a phone/tablet/whatever in which case you might as well just use blockchain.info anyway. There's also the issue that the coin would really need both the address and the private key on it, making it a single use item because you'd never know if the person/people before you kept the private key.
