Bump. Does anyone here have one? This seems to be the latest update:

These are currently being offered on a case-by-case basis to users as a test market. Once we know they work well, we will roll them out site-wide.

First i've heard of them having a debit card in the works. That would be AWESOME. I've been looking for something to use in Canada for forever now. I had the Local Coin ATM debit card when it was first released but it only lasted for a few months before they canned it. Since then I haven't had anything to convert my btc/other coins to CAD... I've been using paypal unfortunately but haven't had any hick ups doing so.

But Quadriga releasing a debit card would be a godsend they're a very trustworthy exchange. I hope it goes full throttle and it happens. I cannot find anything on their website about the card right now but maybe in the coming months.

QuadrigaCX, one of Canada's largest exchanges, seems to be wanting to launch a Bitcoin Visa debit card. They said this in June:
- QuadrigaCX Visa Branded debit cards will be rolled out on a trial basis in July, followed by full scale introduction shortly thereater.

All Bitcoin debit cards so far seem to be in USD/EUR/GBP, so it's nice to see Canadians finally getting an easy way to spend BTC without paying a 2.5% foreign exchange fee. I'm definitely looking forward to the full scale introduction.

I was wondering if anyone here has been selected for a trial, or if there's any more news about it. I haven't used them much, so I doubt I would have heard about it.
