Topic: Quantum Error Correction, Hashing, & Quantum Teleportation (Read 1318 times)
These are two areas I foresee quantum computing affecting Bitcoin:
The first is largely uninteresting (as explained in the linked thread), the second is irrelevant.- Quantum computers can do hashing (cf. Quantum Error Correction).
- Quantum teleportation will revolutionize distribution of the blockchain.
Both are off-topic for this subforum, at least in the above armwave and speculate form.
