Nevertheless, now I'm using the Anubis frontend and it already has exactly this functionality built in ;-)

Does anyone know if it's possible to query information of my wallet outside the original client (bitcoin-qt)?
I'm looking for an easy way to access current bitcoin amount in my wallet and optionally the transaction log using either ODBC or ADO.net.

Thanks for any help...
Use blockchain.info and import all your used addresses there, but not your privatekeys.
