The only best bet if youre in the states is you do in cash, on some ad you find on localbitcoins.

If youre trying to do a card scenario - you find a paypal add and do the same on localbitcoins.

Any other method like coinbase - you`ll hear bad support stories or situations where they get charged randomly despite their reputation (support isnt their strong side).

You can purchase bitcoin in coinbase using your credit card but notthat I know if they will give the bitcoin instantly. Aren't there any atm where you can buy bitcoin inyour area?
Best option for you is localbitcoin.

Maybe coins.ph will do? But it depends on your location, I think only Asian countries can use this website. But it is a good one, you can cash in using your credit card, then easily convert from peso ( that was the currency that was used) into BTC. As simple as that. Now you have BTC. In addition, you can use C-cex.com . They also trade Bitcoins to Us Dollars and other crypto-currency. Hope that helps
