Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
I think it's not something that can be very off road for a project to list its token before the launch of the official game. I'm sure they must have launched the demo version for the players to have an experience on. It can sky rocket after the launch but it depends on a lot of things not just On the pre launch of the token. I think there will be a dump for sure as the investors who have Invested for short term profits when they'll take their investments out then there will surely be a dump.

I think the best time to invest was the time when you invested before the launch of the project as if it's a good project then it can take up some good heights. Just do thorough research and get an eye on the team that what they are planning and doing in the future.

I'll only try to answer your last 3 questions, because I don't know for sure how your first question works (to avoid misconceptions).

2. Can the token sky rocket its price after getting listed KNOWING that the game is far from the release?

Yes, it can. But you need to know that this price increase will not be completely driven by the community or potential adopters but rather the price will be increased by the project team itself.

3. Should I expect a 'dump' after the token launch because the majority of the investors who bought in pre-sales are talking about making quick gains when the token launches next week.

You should expect that, just like the airdrop, the tokens from the pre-sale will also be immediately sold by those who bought. Yes, at least they want ROI or 2x first.

Note: for projects that have a lot of attention and good fundamentals, the decline in token prices will not last long.

4. (For the experieced investors): When should be the best time to buy this token? After the game's release OR when the release time approaches and as how the hype gets build up by influencers?

It depends on what type you are, if you can accept more risk, it's better to buy it when the release time gets closer. And if you're the type who usually plays it safe, buy when you know what the final product is like.

Thanks.

Anyone else like to input anything more?

I have no idea I what the project looks like but for sure I have experience with alot of Gamefi projects and how their tokens performed in the past, although it is best to use them to play on the platform rather than taking them as an investment because on the long run most of them usually run out of energy to continue with the market volitities.

So for sure the best time to buy them is when the are launched on the exchange and the price is still very low, that way even if you sell later you can still make some gains and if the market refuse to rais due to lack of liqudity also you can still get your money out since you bought at the bottom.

Note: I am not sure if I can name any project here who's GameFi project is yet to be launched next year; so please let me know and I will name it here.

Hello,

I am following this GameFi project which is slated to be released in Q1 2025 (next year). However, they are about to list their token on exchanges next week after successfully getting sold out in pre-sales raising 'X' amount of money. The only 'proof' they have of the game is a demo available to play on Apple and Android devices.

The token's price is obviously just a bit higher than the pre-sale price when it will be released next week to the public.

My questions are:

1. How practical is it for a game to release its token A YEAR before the game's launch?

2. Can the token sky rocket its price after getting listed KNOWING that the game is far from the release?

3. Should I expect a 'dump' after the token launch because the majority of the investors who bought in pre-sales are talking about making quick gains when the token launches next week.

4. (For the experieced investors): When should be the best time to buy this token? After the game's release OR when the release time approaches and as how the hype gets build up by influencers?

Thank you and please do include if anything you think I have missed.

Thanks again.
