From what i understood bitfinex going to support BCC,
My question is, if i will upload BTC to Bitfinex, and then return the BTC to my local wallet, will the BCC stay on the exchange?

 Huh
Thanks

The same thing also felt, any sense I felt
I want to deposit some of my btc on exchange, to get bcc
But there is a fear of missing his btc

You will have a hold of both coins. And if the price of btc will have a low cost then at least you will have your bcc to use. But its not always a guarantee that both of them will have a good effect in the stock market. But at least if you have seen ethereum using hardfork then at least you might be familar with the ethereum classic as its hardfork. That maybe the outcome of the hardfork so better have those 2 coins on your hands for future uses.

Is this in all exchange sites, that is, in any site your coins are, after the hard fork you will have the too coins (i.e BTC and BCC)

OK.  It sounds like my Ledger Wallet coins are safe (https://blog.ledger.co/securing-your-free-bitcoin-cash-stash-d50aff765688).

From what I've been told, so long as you have your BTC private keys you'll get a balance on both chains.  So no need to transfer to an exchange it sounds.

You need a wallet which supports both chains in case of a hard fork happening. Bitcoin Core and Electrum have this kind of support as desktop wallets. In these days is not recommended that you keep your bitcoins in an exchange.

i think you still have your BCC in your wallet at bitfinex as long as they give the right wallet address, you can withdraw to another wallet. but if this is available too in other wallet because i see there is still few BCC wallet is available and we only have to select what is suit for us. i hope if bitfinex is support BCC, they will give the same amount as BTC we have.

after segwit if split accident can double coin, bitcoin cash(BCC) and BTC
so if bitfinex is ready announcement if hold BTC can receive BCC, you can get double balance in BCC dan BTC,if not announcment youre balance still BTC not BCC

after split exchanger can double market, BCC and BTC
I do only heard about bittrex to support the split but i didnt hear of bitfinex if they would support BCC too. I dont have the complete list on those exchanges would support this split. One things for sure we would guarantee to recieve BCC on those exchange who do support it. If you can risk your btc to put on it just to gain BCC then its our choice but we should always think on the risk.

Isn't simpler just to keeep Bitcoins on wallet, where you got access to private keys if you want to get BCC after fork? If you are worried, I think it's safer way to keep bitcoins, especially if you don't have 100% trust in exchange.

Some people are unsure of how to do the split, exchanges are the best option for those who don't know enough about the process.

So I've read the Bitfinex post on this (https://www.bitfinex.com/posts/212) and it does seem to suggest your Bitcoins are safe on their exchange and you'll get 'free' Bitcoin Cash as well?  Am I understanding that correctly?

Exchanges will not say that your coins aren't safe to them, if you will check all exchange they mostly say it. 1:1 is the amount that you'll get if you have bitcoins from an exchange and you're the one to choose on what you will withdraw.

So if I have 1 BTC on their exchange I'll get (about) 1 BCH (whatever a BCH is going to be worth once created after the fork)?

Yes exactly, that's what you'll get. The same amount of bitcoin.

As far as I know, as long as you have Bitcoin in your wallet on Bittrex, they will give you Bitcoin Cash to your BCC wallet on Bittrex too, after the 1st August, you will be able to withdraw your BCC to your BCC wallet anywhere alse.
I think the question is about Bitfinex exchange. Also I dont think bittrex will support both chains.I received email last night from Kraken that says kraken will support btc cash also. You better check with your exchange support or to be on a safer side, keep your btc in a wallet for which you hold priv keys

I guess what you think is true. But most of the exchanges have said that if there will be two coins or a split will occur they will support bcc or bch and they also said all btc in the exchange will be automatically be called bcc or bch. But there is an option there since they said that we can exchange or trade BCC or BCH to btc if we dont like it inside the exchange itself. I dont know in the case of bitfinex but that is how I see how the exchanges will settle things when a split will occur. But I hope that during the split we can have both coins and we can earn both from their value, if this is the case then I pray for a split but if we cannot have both coins at the same time together with the value I wish that the split will not occur.

Kraken is also supporting the new Bitcoin Cash (http://blog.kraken.com/post/1150/bitcoin-cash-and-a-critical-alert-for-bitcoin-margin-traders/).

So are you effectively getting free coins (if you are willing to take the risk of putting your coin on an exchange during a fork)?

Yes 100% correct.

Bitmain copies the BTC blockchain (with all wallets) and simply names it a different coin.

If you have Bitcoin at the time of the fork, Bitfinex give you 1:1 BCC for the same amount of BTC you have on your account.

After that, you can withdraw your BTC and leave your Bitcoin Cash there.

p.s: They are listing the Bitcoin Cash as BCH and not BCC.
