I don't ever remember any "Challenge coin" from BTCC, I think that may be a mistake, but not 100% ofc... Tongue

BTCC was represented in the updated, hard-cover version.
There were an additional 17? pages of coins and BTCC was included

The original Encyclopedia also omitted the very first physical Bitcoins ever made, BTCitBTCills.  Roll Eyes

I have a first edition 2016. Anyway, no BTCC represented. Abiky started a thread asking how much a 2014 BTCC challenge coin is worth. I went to look it up in the encyclopedia and it dawned on me then that they are not in there. Seems strange since these are such important coins in history of physical btc coins.

I have been wondering what is in the 'revised' encyclopedia and if I need to shell out for it.

I think the first BTCC came out in 2015. I believe the same year as the book. Probably just missed the window. The oldest coin in the book is the 2014 binary eagle i think. I actually wrote the author and asked for a volume 2mn but never heard back, lol. Our industry could sure use a volume 2.

Do you mean the most recent in the book since there were many in the book before 2014?

Why are the BTCC mint coins not in the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins?

Seems like the OGs of physical BTC coins respect these like Casascious and Lealana as prominent leaders in this coin hobby, but the omission for the encyclopedia hurts them from onboarding collectors.
