Thanks but I did found the answer to my qustion already in the german section of the forum here.

Anyway also thanks for your suggestion. I did read about creating own wallet and while I love the idea behind the whole BC system (which is the reason why I am here), I also must admit that I really really dislike the usability and security aspect of BC and the BC wallet. I really dislike the idea of storing money on a computer file (except for data stored on professional servers like my bank account or paypal). Also after reading I do dislike the way I would manage all this.

Don´t understand me wrong... I love the philosophy of BC but how it must be managed is not what I like so much. I do not have any linux system here. My main system has just firefox no script installed, antivir software, a firewall and a router for security. I am not sure if a new created windows 7 user account would be similar to a sandbox. But the fact is that my main windows 7 account is used pretty pretty hard. I can´t garant that a file filled with money is save on my site. Also I do need a station between L$ and USD because I am Second Life Creator and Merchant. I thought VirWox seems perfect for this purpose.

No critism about your suggestion. Every suggestion is appreciated. But as you can see, I have some doubts and I am also a little bit afraid. The system here is used as guitar amp with many many plugins installed.. I have also music software installed with many many not only commercial plugins installed.. also user content. Same goes for graphicdesign and gaming. I surf with this account and I upload and download pretty much. While real bank account but also paypal seems save because there is a second security layer which is my smartphone (sms)... BC does not offer this kind of usability and security. I do believe BC is yet not suitable for the mass.

Get your own wallet to store your bitcoin.  Something that allows you to maintain control of your private keys.  It is much safer.

Suggestions:

Armory
Bitcoin-Qt
Electrum, MultiBit, https://blockchain.info/wallet

The suggestions are listed in order from most inconvenient to use to most convenient.

The suggestions are also listed in order from most secure to least secure (the differences in security between Electrum, MultiBit, and blockchain.info are negligible)

Hello,

I have a question about a Bitcoin Adress. I am Second Life User and I can exchange L$ (Second Life Currency) to BC via a Webservice called Virwox. I trust them and have an account there since a long time because I exchanged to fiat currency very often there.

But bitcoins is a new topic for me. I did read already a lot but one question comes up here...

I was able to generate an adress on Virwox which is now my actually bitcoin adress as I read. But at the same time they do write that this adress will change while the old adress will stay. That is so confusing.

Assuming I over a service and want to be payed in BC... can I give out this online wallet adress or will it be a security issue? Virwox says I can save bc there.. and I would do as I trust them. But I wonder if this mentioned adress is for that purpose?

Hope to get an idea.

Greetings.
