I have a question about HD wallets: I've heard, that the addresses change, when you receive coins? I'm using Jaxx. So does that mean, when I receive like one transaction worth 10$ to my Bitcoin/Ethereum wallet, then the Bitcoin/Ethereum address changes in my Jaxx interface?

But I will still get the coins, that are sent to the old addresses.

Am I wrong with anything? Huh

I dont know about Jaxx, I use Electrum myself and soon a cold storage.
Always doublecheck you're receiving adress when you are making a transaction.
So if you receive some Bitcoins into your Electrum wallet, does the address change?

Well i didn't noticed that my "receive" adress changes automaticly, but i can change it myself, if im correct you get serveral receiving adresses you can use for different goals. Anyhow it doesnt really matter. Just Always double check if the adress you are sending to is the right one. Mistakes can't be reversed when its on the blockchain.
Ok!  Smiley

I found a iOS wallet called "Alta Wallet" (a desktop wallet is available too), which supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin, has a built in exchange and you can create multiple wallets (not just multiple addresses) So you can have like a wallet called "mining" with BTC, ETH, LTC etc. and a wallet called "donations" with BTC, ETH, LTC etc. and you can easily switch between them! Smiley
Pretty unique... Cheesy
