There are a lot of reports that requires a moderator actions on the chinese local board, after weeks of reporting those threads, no actions have been taken until now, it would be good if there are other moderators who could understand basic chinese helping to sort out those reports and move those threads to the proper child boards, thank you very much

Highly possible, also warn the threads in question that it is against the rule if you don't post in the right section for a specific thread.
that way they won't create another thread in local board that belong to child board altcoin
You won't understand the real problem at the Chinese local board at the moment, warning does not seems to work, there is way too much threads created to promote Deeponion, Semux, EOS and Marinecoin, and all these threads should be in the child board altcoin instead of the main board.

I guess the best option now is to wait for the local moderator to be online and move all those threads to the proper boards.

Your local moderator is the only responsible for it. if you report it to moderator they might not understand the problem because of language barrier

I guess the only thing I can do now is to keep on reporting threads that are not in the proper boards and hope the local moderator in charge will come online soon to follow up with my reports.

For the meantime if local moderator is missing in action just warn the topic and or a new one stating the fact that if oneself didn't read the sticky thread in our local board it doesn't mean you can just create a topic/thread that doesn't belong to the ideal/appropriate section.

Yeah, that's the thing. If your local mod is not so active the best you could hope is a global mod (somehow) handling your reports.

By the way, are you referring to the local Chinese section?
Yes, I am referring to the local Chinese board, there are too many threads that are not being placed in the proper child boards at the moment, there are child boards for altcoins discussion, goods and services ( flea market ) and off-topic but I don't see the reports I made being move there by the local moderator after a long period of time.

Is there a way to know if our report is deem as a good report or bad report?

There is no way for non-staff members to know the status of individual reports, unfortunately.

But the local moderator is fairly inactive most of the time, so I don't think I would get an answer from him in PM, if all the reports I made are being marked as bad reports due to inactive local moderator, even though it is the truth that the threads is totally posted at the wrong section.

Your reports won't be automatically marked as bad even if the local mod is inactive, it would just be left unhandled for a long time (until somebody handles it).

So what is the real point in reporting those threads on local boards since no moderator are going to handle those reports? I am quite confused at the moment Huh

No action given could mean two things: either the mod is busy or your report is marked as a bad report. The former is more likely though for your case (a wrong section thread).

I'm not sure about this but I think reporting the same thread twice might be a little annoying as it will drown the other reports. If you see no action on your report for weeks, PM the mod asking whether it was unhandled or marked as bad.

but what if there is no action taken by the local moderator after a period of time? ( basically a few days to a week )

Do we report the same thread again for the 2nd time? Does it affect our reporting accuracy if we report the same threads twice? Hope someone can clarify and advise, thank you very much.

While my guitar gently weeps!!!
Hi, I have some doubts about the report function for threads that are not in the proper sections, after we have submitted a report on threads that are not in the proper sections on local boards, I understand we should wait for a moderator to check the report and move the thread to the proper section, but what if there is no action taken by the local moderator after a period of time? Your local moderator will handle those reports sooner or later, or wait till someone(Staff) who can understand your language handle those reports...
