Multiple transactions would be more expensive than a single transaction.
ShapeShift works fine though!

Why do you use SS, out of interest? I've avoided it so far.

Is better transfer all at once, because you pay fixed fee for every transfer.

Does any one know if it is cheaper to transfer litecoins to bitcoins all at once, compared to let´s say 5 times 1/5th?
I am using Shapeshift inside the Jaxx wallet

If it is more expensive to chop it into five times, what is the extra cost? (if the value of the coins would be the same of course).

Just unsure...better to ask!

Its always more expensive to have more inputs. I don't know if Jaxx takes any extra service fee though.
However, Shapshift only charges miner fee, no exchange or service fee.

If you send all at once, Shapeshifts miner fee is 0.001 LTC.
If you divide up the amounts and send 5 times, it would be 0.001LTC *5 = 0.005LTC.

So this calculation minus whatever Jaxx takes will be the final answer.
