thank you so much guys Smiley

good luck at what you pick.

If I was putting in 25k.  i would  buy the 15 pack deal from spondollies

15 sp20's for 10,500 usd

I would buy 15 s-3+ units from bitmaintech  about  3500

I would buy a lot of psu from provantage they sell the evga 1300g2 for 192 but if I purchase bulk they wii sell for les.

  so I would have laid out  maybe 16k  for  15 sp20's and 15 s-3's and psu's  the other 9 k I would buy btc and hold.

so it is a 3 prong attack with the 25k invested.

Completely agree with Raskul.

Spondoolies tech. They are open and transparent in future technologies also. Great support and forthcoming with compensation when deadlines aren't meet (pre-orders).

Bitmain was at one time ahead of them. They brought at the U3 and water cooled C1, which simply was the wrong way to go. Waste of resources allowing the competition to take over. They also employed a frequent poster (Dogie), so take anything he says with a grain of salt.

New tech is due to be announced shortly with sales likely for early next year. Likely to be initially twice as efficient as current tech, pushing to 4 times come mid year. Halfing in 2016 to consider also.

So, here's what you need to consider.

Price per GH
Watts per GH
Resale value.

I have been mining with SP-Tech equipment since SP10 (bought in March) and I am STILL running those SP10, alongwith my other SP-Tech miners.

I have found that the customisability of the miner (downclocking) is second to none. I am running each of my old SP10 at max 833watts and getting 1.2TH/s

That is still a profitable miner - EIGHT months from the date I received them. Of course, they have paid me back the purchase price long ago.

I'm now mining with the SP20 and I am underclocking these also;

745watts mining at > 1.35TH/s - i worked out that these will still mine profitable right up until difficulty hits 100billion.

If I were to sell on my old SP10's I'd easily get a decent price for them.
Spondoolies, somehow have created the most efficient, most stable and most trustworthy miners, ever.

If you want to test the stability on any pool, you can rent my SP10's or my SP20 here;

i'd advise you contact [email protected] if you are looking to make a bulk purchase and find out if they might do a bulk discount for you.
They might give you a discount code that you can use to purchase from their website.

I personally was browsing for the past half hour and this looks to be a fair price per hash.
But I am a noob so I need expert opinions Smiley http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/sp35-yukon-power-november-batch-1

$3600 for 5.5 tetra hash at 3650 watts

Please ignore my negative rating. Just trolls who were mean to me in the past. I cannot remove it Sad

QUESTION:

I have an investor who can literally throw down a hundred grand on miners.

So what is the best miner, in your opinion, at the moment?

Price / Hash / Power usage = profit margin (and of course longevity of the hardware is another good aspect)

Thank you to those who stay on topic and offer sound advice. Smiley
