congratulations and all that

but what happens to those of us who had our Eth tx cancelled despite getting it in before the 3 hour window and some before the 1 hour marker ?
Was this not some kind of guarantee you made, or is that just wind in the tweet now?

While their intention was to accommodate absolutely everyone who wanted to participate, the first hour (and perhaps the additional ~1.5 hours as well) was not able to effectively handle network traffic, and retroactively they were not able to process failed transactions without even greater disturbance. The good news is that the Bancor Network Token is (and was, as soon as immediately following the token generation event) perpetually available for purchase, directly from its smart contract, through your Web3 wallet. And for the past 6 months, even at lower rates than the launch price (in terms of ETH, and for the first many, also in terms of USD.) I hope you'll still join the Bancor ecosystem or follow the project. The Bancor team certainly regrets the confusion caused by unanticipated extenuating circumstances in a very early time for the industry. The intention of the project was and remains to be as inclusive and accessible as possible to all, now and in the future.
