I was thinking what happens if a person sends more than the listed amount of BTC? I think than it would surely be marked as a donation to the forum in case their is no refund.

I reckon it would be a donation. After all, the amount is clearly stated.

I activated my copper membership by sending the rest 0.0005BTC to a new address.

That's really cool, forums payment system works pretty well. Even if a person sends wrong amount of BTC to the payment address, system will detect the difference and notify about it.

Eh?
But the message in his profile is self-explanatory, he just have to pay the missing 0.0005BTC in order to activate copper membership.
Ok, I see Shocked

He is notified about the remaining 0.0005BTC pay, to send it to a new address. Hope it works out when he pays the remaining fee.

When it's unpaid, it will be displayed as:

Available paid memberships:

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
I think you should re-buy the membership by sending the full amount again with exact number of BTC and your last payment could be counted as an donation to the forum. Wink
Are you sure that he need to pay the full amount again to get the copper membership? Or I just understand the below statement wrongly.

Available paid memberships:
Copper - 0.00050000 BTC: Allows you to post images even if you are a newbie, reduces the time-between-actions limit, and provides some of the same benefits as being of natural Member rank.
You have paid a total of 0.00625676 BTC. This is reflected in the above prices. (To get the normal price, add this amount to the above prices.)

I think he need to pay only that remaining amount of 0.0005BTC now to get the copper member feature available.

Your transaction ID shows you have sent 0.00625676 BTC, to the forum payment address but the payable amount for a copper membership is 0.00675676 BTC, at the same time it's clearly written on the payment page that "Bitcoin network fees and exchange/wallet withdrawal fees will not count toward your payment.".

Your payment was transferred from an exchange and most of the exchange have high withdrawal fees, this eat your rest of the BTC as Tx fee and the correct amount was not transferred to the listed address which stopped the system from triggering your copper membership application, also it is fully automatic.

I think you should re-buy the membership by sending the full amount again with exact number of BTC and your last payment could be counted as an donation to the forum. Wink

Did your fees cover the full amount? If you withdrawed from an exchange, then you'd still have to fork out the remaining 50K (assuming that's the fees).

Looks like you underpaid by 0.00050000 BTC, probably because you incorrectly subtracted a network or exchange fee.

Hello, admin

I've paid 0.00675676 BTC to 32BnHA76K39Kp8SXddSzbZTxB1iQHQf8Xg to buy Copper membership.
I've logged out and been back to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote after 1 transaction.
The form to enable my copper membership does not appear.

It says:

Available paid memberships:

Pay to the Bitcoin address 33M2bkEvkiKHQ6veht4KZp2xYsjfU94L2M. Once your transaction has 1 confirmation, revisit this page and then use the form which will appear in order to wear your new membership. Your transaction will not be accepted until it has 1 confirmation. Bitcoin network fees and exchange/wallet withdrawal fees will not count toward your payment.

How can I manage this situation?

I went to "Profile" >"Show stats", and it says "An Error Has Occurred!User stats are disabled".
