Coin was redeemed with the help of the very helpful minerjones.

No bankruns needed on denarium products, all is sound.  Wink

Mind describing the solution here incase someone face the same issue in the future?

Thanks

Aye I am curious as well...was a ballet used? If not what other wallet? Would be nice to know for my own personal

information as well as other who come later facing similar issues..thanks!

Yes, the Ballet app was used to sweep the funds.

I use ballet for all my importing these days. It's amazing and does all the forks for u.

So i can scan wallets directly into ballet?

Yes, you can scan any wallet using the ballet app. You can even scan a picture of a QR. It won't keep track of it or nothing. But for simply checking the funding or importing it's great. Ballet has thought of almost everything. Almost.

Disobey.
It says on Coinomi as follows……

Coinomi can only sweep keys from individual addresses in the WIF, BIP38 and Mini formats.

https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000017747-i-can-t-sweep-my-btc-private-key

so it will accept mini private key format

I use coinomi from time to time to for low-value stuff, because it's a nice and convenient/quick option for android.
However I would be careful, they tend to switch off coin support and stuff can turn out to become an issue - for example it wasn't really convenient to get XMR back from their wallet once it was suddenly not supported anymore.
Also, it's closed source and that stuff should be avoided for higher-value transactions imho.

If you don't want to use a ballet wallet to sweep your funds on, I'd recommend you try electrum wallet.
It's known to be very secure, it's open source and easy to use and at the same time has nice features, including signing messages and coin-control.

It also supports mini-keys. Read all info here: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/sweeping-your-private-keys-into-electrum/

ballet has not worked for the denarium or the Mycelium app

added the accociated error messages / codes to op

I may be mistaken, but it looks like you’re trying to scan a “new” card on the ballet app.I think you need a ballet wallet already scanned into the app and then you can sweep the funds onto the card.I’m sure one of seasoned ballet users can give better info though.

Looks like you click the menu button in top right of the app and then go to the “Import Assets” in the services. Then you can choose the mini private key option and scan.

this is correct - they may not have a ballet wallet at all - in which case you need to get at least one to use the app - because think, how can you import a private key and its funds if you dont have something to import it to?

stakin is correct though, if you have a ballet wallet in the app, you can import mini keys.

Hello bitcointalk,

How do you import the private keys from a denarium into a crypto gui wallet so the funds can be sent.

I tried electrum, and exodus and both wallets failed to read the private key.

Private key is presented with a QR code as well as a hash that begins with an "S".

Please provide any educational resources or help.

Thankyou.

Sounds similar to a Casascius key, which is considered a "mini-key" https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mini_private_key_format

I would recommend using Ballet app... will also grab any forks automatically for you Cheesy
