i have participated in some airdrops with this wallet and didn't add the tokens

is there a way to check if i have received any thing but it's not shown because i didn't add the token ?

You can go on https://etherscan.io/address/YOUR_ETH_ADDRESS_HERE .
There you can check 1) your ether balance and TX's and 2) token transfers to this account.
To make it visible in your MyEtherWallet instance you have to "add" this token. You have to enter Name/Decimals/Contract Address of this Token to make it usable.
From there on you always see those tokens when loging in to MEW and you can send those.

Exactly what i was looking for Smiley

Thank you for your help

and thanks for everyone else

hello

i don't know if this the right place for my question, so please let me know if i have to move it.

i have a question regarding MEW, if i received a tokens that are not listed on the wallet what happens ?

do i lose my tokens or it will show the balance after i add it ?

No worries, tokens will always be in your wallet as mentioned above

Just remember, always check if the tokens you sent are ERC standard.

If you sent BTC to ETH wallet, i have no idea what will happen. (Although it may not sent out because the address identifier is not same Tongue)

Always add the coin as per the instructions given to you:
Contract address
Coin Symboll
Decimals

nothing is lost, as all is stored in the blockchain.

thanks for your reply

if you will using smartphone you can download imtoken application, import your mew wallet in imtoken providing your private key. Every time there was a token recieving in your wallet, notification will pop out. you can also view your token  inside the imtoken app. another way is go to etherscan website then you can scan your wallet you will see how many tokens inside your wallet.

Everything that you have in your wallet is recorded in your wallets blockchain data. It's not that easy to lose anything in your wallet but this is dangerous and alarming if you have not followed the SOP(standard operating procedures) for a certain coin to add it. Your coins could be on a stake. You should better make them safe to the point that they don't look like vulnerable to anyone otherwise the scammers are very smart to take benefits of such accounts.
