Of course, there is a vetting process!
Having a first come first serve basis of confirming participants opens up the campaign to abuse.
You will have to look at the post quality of the people signing up and then confirm them. Otherwise, the campaign might be counterproductive. There are a couple of campaigns which do not monitor the post quality and you find typical 'shit-posters' signing up for them.

It definitely is a campaign manager's job to monitor posts as well.
About payment for signature campaigns, from what I understand here, it could be ~10% of the payout.

If you are looking for somebody to run your campaign, I could manage it. This would be my first, although I am quite active in this forum.
Some experienced and good campaign managers include hilariousandco, guitarplinker and Carra23
You could also check out the services section for people looking to manage campaigns.

Would anyone know of any campaign managers looking for help? The co-hosting idea actually seems brilliant, since it would probably be a good idea for me to learn what is going on behind the scenes.

I take it that it is the manager's tasks to monitor posts as well, to prevent the aforementioned shitty post spamming? Also, how does payment for the manager work, or does this vary depending on who you work with?

In the process you will learn a lot of their expertise and you are all set to do the next one yourself.

I would say the first thing you should be doing is talk to a sig campaign manager, he will answer all your questions. If you decide to doing everything yourself, set a budget for your whole campaign and decide upon the rates for each participant member ranks. You will need a set of signature designs and your campaign thread. Work out how much you need to pay participants per month and put that amount in escrow. I would say you'll need at least 1 btc for an effective campaign.

Consider the cost to pay a campaign manager and to have coins dedicated to escrow. And are you just worried about the costs of the marketing (i.e., the signature campaign)? Or are you also worried about the costs of your site/service? The tracking can be done automatically or by a Campaign Manager. Bit-x has a great example of an automatic system.

Yes, this is one reason why you need an effective campaign manager.
Managing the campaign using bots tends to promote spamming / low quality posts.
People tend to think they can get away with spamming. It affects not only the forum, but also your brand perception.

Different account ranks requires different signatures so you will be needing to prepare the signature designs. Also estimate the funds for your campaign. How much would you be willing to pay for the entire campaign period? As you are a newbie and does not have any established reputation in here, it's best that you escrow the funds for this to ensure that your participants will receive their payments.
A campaign manager is not really necessary but if you think you can't handle checking and counting your participants posts, then you might be needing one to help you in managing the campaign to ensure that your campaign will be effective both for your side and your participants side.

Also if you want to promote your service or whatever it is, I encourage that you make a campaign that does not allow people to get paid by just simply posting shitty spammy post in exchange for cents. You wouldn't want to get those kind of people in your campaign as I think it will somehow damage your reputation or your services image because of their worthless post. If you are talking about tracking the hits/effectiveness of the signature campaign, you can look at having a customized referral link in the signatures.
Do you have the signatures ready? To get started, you can have a competition to design signatures for your campaign.

Generally you should have one to two periods worth of Bitcoin with the escrow. The amount for each period should be the maximum amount you will ever pay out. This would be that all available slots are filled and every single person posts the maximum that you allow.

To start, you will most likely need to hire a campaign manager to run the campaign for you. One of the best campaign managers is Carra23. You can find people offering campaign managing services in the services section.

You will also need an escrow to hold some extra funds. The escrow is to guarantee to the participants that they will get paid should you decide to run away without paying them.
