Hello, I apologize for getting straight to the point in advance, but I have two separate questions.

I recently received a bi fury miner in the mail, I was under the assumption that everything was working correctly on the device, and so I attempted to utilize the suggested software for it. Upon launching cgminer (latest as well as 3.8.5) I am brought uo with an error message stating

"failed to resolve (?wrong url)" and then it closes out the window in question. I took the liberty to look over for a config file within the cgminer folder to no avail.
Perhaps I may be missing something, I have attempted to type in the address as followed.

http(s)://pit.deepbit.net:8332/
http(s)://pit.deepbit.net:8332
http(s)://pit.deepbit.net
pit.deepbit.net

All wield the same results even though, previously I had utilized a graphics card for my mining purposes.

Secondly, when I attempt to assign the drivers for my bi fury device, next to the WCID box is a red x mark, is this considered normal? I am just trying to cover all bases in advance... also, can anyone recommend a decent fan to keep my bi fury cool? This last question isn't as important but I would still like any personal suggestions if you indeed do have them.

Operating system: windows 8.1 X64
USB 3.0/2.0
(any other information upon request).

Thanks to all who offer assistance!
