thanks for these quick replies guys.

I've bought some btc yesterday..i see it in unconfirmed..and how its already $10 less due to the btc fall.

I use cex.io for the purchase of btc...I didn't see an option to increase transaction fee so it goes faster. How do I change this for next time it to go faster?

Thanks.

If you ask this question in 2013, it will be a viral. But nowadays, so many transactions are unconfirmed within 12 hours until-extremely one week. People doesn't see it as a big problem, because we start realize 2mb block size can't provide thousands transactions everyday.
Next time, maybe you can add more transaction fee to get your transactions confirm by the miners faster.

Yes, that's pretty normal (nowadays).

Reasons:
1. Low fee being used
2. A transaction that uses funds from another unconfirmed transaction

Knowing the transaction ID would have helped, but one of the above reasons are mostly the case. Simply go to this thread for solutions: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/all-about-stuck-transactions-and-what-you-can-do-to-fix-them-1802212
