An ico can be a scam no matter what and that is the biggest cause of loss in the ico world. The quick sells are very often the ones that have a huge team, spread out in different locations that are working as a group to steal from people and use all kinds of methods, including the ico method. It is not about the validity of the project, the sell speed or anything else, in the end it is about the movement of the values and tokens after the close of the ico.

The Movement DAO
Yesterday i saw a vid that quick sell outs are a good indicator that its gonna do well on the exchanges in contrary to slow ICO's.

While i agree with the first statement, i dont nessesarily do with the second.

Though im not to experienced with it, so im asking what is ur take on this. How "slow" yet successfull did other ICO's do? Like Omisego for example. Sold out in minutes?

Coins with a hardcap and quick sell out are a better deal

I absolutely agree. I think the hard cap ignites a sense of urgency. especially when its in the range of 10 - 20k eth. However in the case of some slow ICOs that eventually become successful, most of them are due to bad timing in release dates or fud around the project during it's ICO, or poor understanding of the project itself.
