If there's a feature that I truly support for the new forum, that would be that one. That would be so marvelous !
Well this feature sure does would be nice if we have it in this forum. But is checking the thread where you posted that hard?I mean, there is the show replies to your post. If you see a thread showed up in there meaning there is a new reply in it then just check it if someone quoted your post, yea? That's what I am doing. 
Not really. A reply to your post could get buried among a lot of other posts in popular threads.
If you get back after a week's vacation, you don't want to go through all threads trying to see if anybody has quoted your post.

Ya this would make a lot of sense. Hopefully the new forum has this option! Otherwise it's impossible to carry a meaningful conversation or discussion with someone. You may never think to check back on a thread.

Welcome to the roots. This is how we do at Bitcointalk. I love it.
The forum needs a software update. The most basic feature such as a quoted post notification is nowhere to be seen. If someone quotes you then you get a message so you can reply, it's pretty simple. The only workaround I've found is going back through all the posts I've made and seeing if anyone said anything to me, which is a real pain in the ass. I'm sure I've missed some messages from people alone the way, but I'm not searching hundreds of posts f that.
