What version of cgminer are you using? It has to be 3.7.2 or older.
ive been using .bat's
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://(pool) -u name -p x -I 19
with my info though

I-5-3570k 3.40 ghz
1000 w power source
8 gb ram
2x R9 270
I get about 400K per unit when I use guiminer. I have been using cgminer on other cards in the past though, and prefer to do it that way.

I can't seem to get mining software running, with the exception of guiminer. Any suggestions? The cgminer within guiminer works, but does not work if i do not use guiminer to access it.
