When I was mining ETH with my R9 290 cards (all Sapphire Reference design, with a bios from TheStilt), they were generally pushing just a hair under 30 Mh/s running 1100 core / 1250 memory as I recall - under LINUX so the only undervolt was out of the modded BIOS.
No idea what the "aux" setting you reference is, and TDP at stock.

If I change the Core Voltage in MSI AB, there is this small arrow that brings up the new window (Triple OV or something). There are some more voltages you can play around with and one of them is this AUX.

You should mine cryptonight based coins, much lower power consumption.

sgminer -g 2 -w 4/8 -ri 640
When I get back home I will try CryptoNight for a change Smiley

Hi,

Is there anyone here (besides me Smiley) who uses R9 290 cards for ETH mining?

What are Your hashrates and overclock settings (if you don't mind sharing Wink)?

I have:
3 R9 290 Reference Design cards doing 29.5 Mh/s 55°C (watercooled)
1 R9 290 Gigabyte Windforce 3X doing 29.5 Mh/s 76°C
1 R9 290 Tri-X doing 29.2 Mh/s 74°C

All cards (besides Tri-X) are running 1100 core / 1250 memory, -40mv core / -100 AUX and +50% power limit
Tri-X is running 1100 core / 1250 memory, stock voltage/AUX and +50 power limit (when I touch voltage on this card it all goes to crap Grin)

1320W from the wall
