Physical Spec wise, with 42U rack, you can use 1 shelf per 3 S7 and 7-10 shelvings  depends on how much extra space between the S7 top and the next shelf.

They have a 47u rack for $360. Plus power @  $0.07/ kWh at home I pay .11.

So if I could fit 7 in the savings in power would almost cover the monthly fee and not have to deal with the noise

you can place 3 units of S7 side by side on normal server rack!

You just need shelf installed


Has anyone considered building a rack chassis to house 3 Antminer s7 in a rack mount


I am thinking of colocating some equipment Hetzner. Pricing isn't to bad

How many shelves can you fit like this in a 42U rack? Not that Im in the position to build such a setup. Just curious. Smiley

EDIT: Looks like 6-7 should fit. Cool.
