What would you prefer? A rackmount chassis for your miner, or a desktop case?
With a rackmount chassis you have the option to purchase colocation and put the miners in a datacenter, where power is cheap.
If you want to keep the miner at home, however, a rackmount chassis might be inconvenient, and unnecessary.
