You should of at least taken off the sticker so your oil won't spill out

I think WD40 will not work properly. It gets dry easily and lose function. You need high temperature grease.

So I picked up a few radeons cheap . .5850's . . 5870's  .. and almost every one of them had an annoying noisy fan.  i took one apart, that was a pain in the ass.

Heres what you do.  take it out of the computer, take a 1/8 drill bit and drill int othe center of the fan.  theres a steel pin there, you cant drill far . . wiggle it around to take out some more plastic . . when you have a hole and can see the steel pin, pool a little wd 40 in the hole and give the fan a little spin . . takes seconds, quiets the fan back down, uses less power.  and next time it gets noisy, lay it down and oil it again.
