Bitfinex chart is delayed

I believe TensorCharts app has even more realtime chart than Bitfinex itself. Few weeks back TensorCharts charts were updated from Bitfinex ticker (what you can see on Bitfinex), which is updated only once in 2-4 seconds. We later switched to raw trade history data and update chart every 10th trade or if traded volume since last update reaches a certain level.

Could you be more specific? How much do you think TC is delayed? Is price being updated according to trade history, etc... bugs happen all the time, so any details would be appreciated.

Hi, after couple of months of development we've released beta version of new real-time charting service, but very different one. It's based on concept of heatmaps - the fundamental difference is you can clearly see the trading history, not just 4bits of information (open, high, low, close). For instance trade heatmap - you take each executed trade and visualize it directly onto chart as a little square. The larger the trade is, the brighter color the square has.

Day trading is something I don't practice a  lot but yes I sometimes give a hand to it.

Hmm site is looking good, I would like to practice it for few more days and then I would like to give a review on it. anyways thanks for sharing.

Check out new short tutorial (1min) - about those "weird blue squares" - OrderBook Heatmap that helps you filter out fake walls and see important support/resistance levels.

there's different approach in trading... andit suits every individual for the trading style... any approach is appliable as long as it make gains in your port..

I agree with you. There are so many different profitable strategies that I would not claim TensorCharts is the ultimate and only tool for trading. I was reffering to the fact it's unique visualization of data that can give you an edge over other traders. The basic premise is most indicators and widespread theories come from times where you could not see depth of market. Nowadays crypto exchages have democritized access to data which can be used as another input in your decision making process. Visualization and other tools in TensorChart help you summarize and understand it more easily.

You can learn more in service annoucment topic here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-tensorchartscom-charts-for-professional-daytraders-2542026 or right on the web https://tensorcharts.com/ in section "learn basics".
I'm duplicating this as I think it would be better to talk about volume based trading techniques here and not under service announcements.

Let me know your impressions.
