Rakuten Wallet and Ciphertrace announced their partnership today to work on AML compliance. Rakuten is said to be the Amazon of Japan is the first e-commerce site of its size to accept crypto. Excited to see these larger exchanges start to implement AML compliance using developed tech to protect its users.

I have a good feeling these are the types of partnerships that will help create adoption on enterprise scale

Right! That's the reason why I always say that regulation of crypto is actually good and if implemented correctly, it will go a long way in future.

Having a desire of seeing cryptocurrencies taking over the main economy will actually ruin the charm of it. Cryptos are good as a parallel economy and it must be treatrd the similar way with government regulation in place! That's when we will see big scale adoption of cryptos.

The business industry is starting to adopt cryptocurrency. From being just a rumour to reality, everything is really surprising. Rakuten will surely not the first e-commerce business to accept crypto. When other e-commerce businesses would notice the value of accepting crypto, they will surely switch to it as well.

This essentially narrows the avenues for money launderers to take their money to and effectively use CipherTrace (finally) into some good application. Good thing that the Japanese are keen into doing such innovations and spearheading developments in the crypto world. The Japanese cryptomarket is growing every day, and with Rakuten pledging to accept crypto in their stores, it just keeps on getting better. Not only are they interested on profits but also on the welfare of their users which is pretty rare for big companies nowadays.

This another adoption is great news not just for Rakuten but also for cryptocurrency. We all know that partnerships with huge companies would reflect and affect the growth of cryptocurrencies. Companies are starting to adopt crypto which will make the prices go better in the future.

I didnt know what rakuten was until I seen some commercials of them pop up while watching some basketball games lately.
They look like a shopping website much like amazon and if they get to using cryptocurrencies soon then they do. You can imagine the interest involved from people outside of japan would skyrocket.

Great News from Japan.

Rakuten and Amazon are big e-commerce competitors in Japan. This might sound speculative but I think Amazon might do something similar with other big exchange in Japan. Good to hear such security measure are being implemented to protect users in Japan.
