Eid mubarak!

I hope all of you had a wonderful month, a blessed month, and wishing you all a great day with family and friends.

I am not a Muslim but I covet some virtues of Islam. Muslims are the most generous people in my country and they even extend it to people of other faiths. Today has been very eventful in my country and these Muslims are giving food and other items to people around and I also admire their colourful attires. A series of prayers have been made for my country for Almighty God to help deliver us from terrorist attacks and economic problems. Hopefully, we will celebrate a more peaceful Salah next year when the wars ravaging many parts of the world have come to an end.

It's really awesome to see people banding together and being cool about religion, if you're the kind people that's more vocal in Islam than those that are extremist and sees everyone as their enemy and consider them infidel, Islam and Muslim people would never get a bad reputation, I'm sure of that, it's also an admiring thing to do when Muslims do Ramadan, that fasting thing is really something that's showing you devotion towards your religion and the way you celebrate at night after a long day of fasting is really something that I'm so fascinated about and I want to know if non-Muslim people can join in that festivities after fasting because whenever I see people cook food to break that fast, it's always pleasant in the eyes.

One charity organization based out of the UK that spends 100% of donated funds on providing food to refugees of war is Emaan Relief.  No funds are diverted towards militants or continuation of hostilities.

Peace upon you too and thank you for sharing this. However, donating to this organizations will definitely go along way and touch lives of many but unfortunately, with the recent economic situation, we are all surrounded by less privileged starting from our various households to our neighborhoods. The purpose of charity is to bring relief to the neediest and if there's means for you, I recommend starting from your household to neighborhoods and if you still have enough, you can then donate to any organization just as Islam recommends. May Allah accept it from us as an act of ibbadah and replenish the donors.

Ramadan Mubarak.
I have never personally taken part in this Muslin celebration. I have said in previous years I would like to in the case I manage to befriend someone in my community willing to guide me through it, it has not happened yet.

This Ramadan may be one of the most important ones in the modern history of Islam, in my opinion, as this is a holiday which is supposed to be about reflection and helping those in need and lately there have been more muslins than ever who find themselves in a position of needs and vulnerability than in previous decades. In my opinion, the protagonists of the charity in this Ramadan are supposed to be the civilians in Gaza, thousands of them having their lives turned outside down because political reasons which escape their personal control ans power. We all must have empathy and imagine who it would be to suddenly lose our homes, our family and keep in mind one could be a victim of a bomb in any time of the day or night, it is difficult to imagine from the comfort of out homes and bed.

Thanks for sharing with us and let us be charitable with people suffering during this Ramadan.  Sad
