It looks like you left him positive feedback a good week ago, and you somehow knew when they "found" the IP address of the extortionist (I would think they would just look in the headers of the email). Sure they could have told you but I wouldn't think a HYIP site would be giving their investors (aka gamblers) this kind of information. EDIT:

I hope you realize that the interest rates offered by this HYIP are unsustainable in the long run. It is inevitable that it will collapse, and you are very naive to give positive trust after withdrawing a small deposit. I think you should remove your trust rating, since having positive trust from a default trusted account will inspire false confidence in investors and cause people to lose more money than they otherwise would have.

I found the IP because I used a website that gives me a link to send to the guy in a message, when the link is clicked it sends him to a 404 error page and emails me the IP.

I can vouch for this post, I tried entering the site recently and it was being DDOSed by the user.
And according to Jawitech, other sites have been extorted by this member too.
